How we transformed an in-person gala to a virtual event
Sight & Sound Productions (SSAV) recently had the honor of hosting and producing the first-ever Jay Fund Virtual Celebrity Gala! We converted a portion of our warehouse into a production studio to give our dear friends at the Jay Fund the ability to raise money for childhood cancer. The event was a huge success, raising $451,989 to help families in this unprecedented time!
We transitioned the Jay Fund Celebrity Gala from an in-person event to an event hosted on Facebook Live from the SSAV studio. We produced the event using our professional video, sound and lighting equipment to provide top-notch production quality. Our crew of highly-trained technicians worked with the presenters and guests to direct the production seamlessly.
By moving online, the event engaged the audience leading to a successful fundraiser without violating social distancing guidelines. Overall, the event achieved great participation and results. We were delighted to help the Jay Fund execute their fundraising event despite extraordinary challenges.
We know the trials event organizers now face. However, we also know that many organizations, like the Jay Fund, depend on live events to raise money and connect with their audience. At SSAV, we help the show go on with virtual live event production.
Our team of expert technicians aren’t new to planning and executing virtual events. We have the experience to successfully produce both live online events and video recorded events. Whatever your specific needs, we are here to help.
If you have an upcoming event, consider moving the event online instead of canceling altogether. Attendees are more willing now than ever before to transition to virtual events. However, focus on the right actions to make your virtual event a success.
With the Jay Fund Gala and other virtual events produced by SSAV, we’ve learned a few keys to effective online events.
At Sight & Sound Productions, we have the experience, training and equipment to transition your in-person event to virtual. In these days of social distancing and government restrictions, you don’t have to cancel events. Instead, shift the event to meet the needs of the current situation.
We are here to help you host a successful event to meet your specific needs and event goals. Contact us with questions about virtual events or to request a quote.
