Jon Davis, Owner and CEO of Sight & Sound and Mugwump Productions, has received the great honor of being named one of Jacksonville Business Journal’s Ultimate CEOs.

Jon Davis joined Sight & Sound as Director of Sales in 1996, advanced to Executive Vice President in 1999, was made President in 2001 and became Owner and CEO in 2011.

Davis has doubled the growth of both companies since his time as Owner & CEO. Sight & Sound grew from 20 employees in 2011 to 39 today, and Mugwump grew from only 3 employees in 2011 to 22 today. Jon Davis successfully grew both Sight & Sound and Mugwump Productions in service offerings and personnel to the point where relocation was necessary.

The new headquarters coined, “Event Central” was completed and both Sight & Sound and Mugwump Productions moved into the 10,000 square foot office space and a 34,000 square foot warehouse. During the construction, Davis accomplished a record year in sales (22% increase in revenue in the 2017-2018 year for companies as a whole).

In 2017, Davis also added an in-house floral department for Mugwump Productions and opened a second location in the Daytona Beach market.

Davis is extremely invested in the community and strives to involve Sight & Sound and Mugwump in giving back. In 2017 alone, the company provided over $1 million dollars in donations and sponsorships to various charities and organizations throughout the North Florida and is proud to have long term relationships with Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, the Jacksonville Zoo, Ronald McDonald House, The Women’s Board, and many, MANY more.
