The Great Ponte Vedra Paddle Race

Sight & Sound Productions would like to thank everyone who participated and volunteered in The Great Ponte Vedra Paddle Race on September 7th, 2015 at Mickler’s Landing. Around 150 paddlers partook in the event this year and the money raised will benefit the HEAL (Healing Every Autistic Life) foundation.
Since the event began in 2012, the Great Ponte Vedra Paddle has been one of the largest paddleboard events on the East Coast. There was a 5-mile Distance Race, a 3-mile Open Race, and a 1-mile Fun Race. Men and women of different divisions won prizes for the best timings. Jack Sauve was the overall winner of the 5-mile race with a timing of 59:59:24. The “if it floats you’re in” challenge was also fun and relaxed way to participate in the event. The teams won prizes towards the most creative floats and costumes. The biggest fund raisers for the event also won prizes
