The 32nd Annual Red Rose Ball
The St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation has committed themselves to bringing the power of hope, healing and new beginnings to our community. For the past 32 years, the foundation has hosted the annual Red Rose Ball and this year’s “Viva la Rosa!” was held February 8, 2013 at the Jacksonville Marriott, Southpoint and the night’s proceeds were raised to benefit the St. Vincent’s Spine and Brain Institute.
Moody Chisholm, President and CEO at St. Vincent’s HealthCare, kicked off the night thanking the jammed packed room of over 500 guests for their support. As dinner was being served, a special performance by dancers of A Social Affair Dance Studio dazzled the crowed and got everyone excited about the night to come.
As soon as dinner wrapped up, former Pro Football player Tony Boselli took the stage and the real fun began. Boselli with his great humor and stage presence auctioned off packages like a Hunting & Fishing trip in Aspen, a VIP Kentucky Derby experience and a Napa Valley Wine Extravaganza. The night concluded with an after party which showcased Mugwump Productions’ white leather furniture and glow bar, which gave the room a comfortable, elegant feel.
Katie Santilli, Special Events Manager for the St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation, shared with us that over $370,000 was raised for the Spine and Brain Institute and “everyone is very pleased and excited about the success of this years annual event.”
